My name is Paola Orazi, I’m 46 years old, and I was born in the Marche region, in the heart of Italy. After living and working in South America, Africa, and Northern Europe, where I perfected my English in Brighton, I’ve returned to my home town Santa Vittoria in Matenano.
A professionally trained celebrant ensures honesty, accuracy, respect, and integrity in every type of ceremony. I personally value preparation and professionalism, which is why I have completed a professional celebrant training course and I am a proud member of the national association: FederCelebranti.
As an independent celebrant i have the flexibility to conduct your ceremony at any location of your choice, whether indoors or outdoors. Owing to my international backgrounds, I’m able to perform the ceremony in Italian, English, or both, ensuring that your international guests are fully included in the proceedings of your celebration.
Paola you did an absolutely excellent job being the celebrant for our wedding, we can thank you enough! Love Chelsey and Sam, 26th July 2025.
An amazing wedding with a sand ritual which was touchful and so nice to experience.
The location is called Officina del Sole in the in the central Italian region of Le Marche, 40km from the coast and 25km from the Sibillini Mountains and National Park.

HERE I BECAME a wedding destination planner and during my carrier I developed an appreciation for civil ceremonies and the unique space they create.
From poetry to classical readings, music to visual arts, love has always been celebrated as one of the most noble human emotions.
What makes it truly special, I believe, is hearing it from those who experience it firsthand. As a Celebrant, I am captivated by the intimate stories shared with me, feeling deeply grateful for the trust placed in my hands.
After officiating the funeral of a dear Irish friend, I realized just how important it is to break the taboos around death, supporting grief with respect, compassion, and understanding.
Most people want to mark important moments in their lives – like births, weddings, and partnerships – and honour loved ones when they pass. Throughout history, rituals have served this purpose in human societies.
But the centuries-long control of rituals by churches presents a challenge for those who aren’t religious, and their families, the need for a meaningful ceremony still exists. People without religious beliefs also want to celebrate life’s milestones, but they want to do it in a way that feels true to them – with warmth, care, and words and music that fit the people and lives being honoured, all while avoiding if desired, references to sacred texts or religions
Each secular ceremony is one of a kind, designed specifically for the occasion and the people involved. It’s grounded in shared human values, without the obligation for religious references. There are no strict rules or formalities to follow, and aside from legal requirements, there’s nothing that must be done a certain way.
First of all it’s important to take your time to find someone you feel at ease with and who YOU CAN CONNECT WITH, so let’s tell you a bit more about me before starting TO work together
Beyond my work as a celebrant, I am a member of the international organization “Initiatives of Change” in London and a facilitator of Peace Circles. through these, active listening and story-sharing foster meaningful interactions, viewing peace as a journey of liberation rather than a destination.
The Peace Circles are small gatherings (usually) of women who meet once a month or over a weekend, with trained facilitators, to explore what it means to create peace in the heart, at home, and within the community.
They unfold through a series of deep conversations that build community and connection, foster resilience, and ignite our abilities to create peace.
First of all it’s important to take your time to find someone you feel at ease with and who has the right vibe to match yours. Then after a relaxed, no-obligation chat—either in person or over video call—to go over your ideas and suggestions, the couple and I will team up to create a personalized and meaningful ceremony, staying in touch with your wedding planner, if you’ve chosen to work with one. I will suggest rituals that fit your style and tell your love story, based on the ideas you’ve shared with me. I’ll also find ways to include you (especially with your own vows) and other special people in your ceremony. Together, I’ll work on the ceremony script, and I’ll keep refining it until you’re completely happy that it captures your dreams and wishes. I’ll also chat about your choices for readings and music to make everything feel just right.
Fluent English and Italian and through my network of very good colleagues, we can cover even more languages.
I am able to travel within Italy and Europe and further afield if need be.
On the day of the wedding, I will arrive early to meet you and go over last minute details, greet your family and guests and conduct the entire ceremony.
